Help us defeat the proposal for rezoning that will add many more trucks to Kirk Rd. traffic, as well as allow the building of a 55 acre industrial park that will decrease property values for area homes and produce a huge warehouse complex that will now be your "neighbor".


Please show your support now to help defeat the rezoning of this 55 acre lot. 


1. Sign the Petition  This is the most important action you can take now!     Sign the Petition Form.  Please do not delay. More signatures is proof to Batavia CIty Council that residents do care and are opposed to the rezoning. Click to sign now.


2. Write an email to the Batavia City Council  and voice your concerns about the rezoning.  The more individuals that Batavia Aldermen and the Mayor hear from via email, the more they will listen to us.   This is an important action you can take today. 3. Put  up a "Batavia Neighbors Not Warehouse" sign in your front yard, to show your support of your opposition.  Contact us to get a sign delivered to your home


4. Attend Keep Batavia Neighborhoods meetings with like-minded opposers in the community to strengthen our voice to Batavia's City Council.  Be sure to sign up for our mailing list to get advance notice of these meetings. We are currently seeking like-minded residents that will help our growing Keep Batavia Neighborhoods group.  Help is needed in many ways, so whatever time or talents you may have, we need your help now. 5. Write to the newspapers  and voice your concern.  Examples are the Chronicle's "Sound Off" page or any newspaper's editorial section.

6. Request to be put on the mailing list to receive email updates about this opposition.  And most importantly, when you are on the mailing list, it provides us the most effective, quickest way to contact you to request your attendance at upcoming City Council meetings where the issue of the 55 acre lot is being discussed.
